Deirdre Bounds, CEO ... With travellers in Sri Lanka and a group of volunteers poised to assist with the clear up, effective media management of the situation was crucial. Hours after a press release went out, Sky news was broadcasting live feeds every hour from the Leeds office and the nationals were clamouring for the story. Bounds and her team managed it effortlessly. "It was worth every penny" says Bounds.
