High profile contracts mark continued success for Joe Manby Limited

Joe Manby Ltd, one of the UK’s largest exhibition and conference service providers whose clients include the Conservative Party, has been awarded prestigious contracts to provide nine national shows across three years.
The family business, established in Harrogate by founder Joe Manby in 1974, has seen off stiff competition to secure agreements from Ocean Media Group to provide shell scheme and electrical services for events over the next three years.
The first is to provide the twice yearly British Bridal Exhibitions - the biggest trade events in the bridal industry - from September 2010 to March 2013. The company will also provide the annual conference for the UK's leading social and affordable housing event, the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Annual Conference and Exhibition which also takes place at the Harrogate International Centre.
Both events have been long-standing clients of Joe Manby Limited for over 20 years, underlining the importance of the company’s strong belief in personal service, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
Andrew Manby, the founder’s son who runs the company with his brother Richard, said: “Being awarded these major contracts from Ocean Media reinforces the strength of our ability and approach along with our commitment to nurturing long-standing relationships with our clients – many of whom have commissioned us for over two decades.”
Joe Manby boasts an annual show portfolio comprising 80 events in over 25 UK venues. Clients span the insurance industry’s showcase BIBA Conference and Exhibition and TUC Congress.
The company’s work regularly generates spontaneous testimonials and thanks from delighted clients. Among the most recent to praise the Joe Manby team was none other than the new Prime Minister, David Cameron, who said: “I really do appreciate all the effort you put in on our behalf. The 2009 conference was a real success but I am well aware of the hard work and many hours of preparation that will have gone on behind the scenes to ensure that everything ran so smoothly.”
