Anchor Magnets makes its mark in Sheffield

From its 22,000 sq ft premises the company has built up the Anchor Magnets brand to include a range of magnetic solutions for its rapidly expanding customer base. After successfully progressing through the application and evaluation process, the company can display the Made in Sheffield mark on its products for two years.

 

Founded in 1984, Anchor Magnets focuses on innovation, inventing cutting-edge products and pioneering processes. It recently became the only organisation in Europe with the capability to recycle flexible magnets, potentially saving thousands of tonnes from landfill every year.

 

“Made in Sheffield” is now a famous international brand, recognised as a mark of origin and quality that distinguishes the products that bear it. Dating back over a century, the mark was first used to protect the burgeoning steel manufacturing industry, and is now applicable to a select range of Sheffield based companies in the metals, bioscience and digital technology sectors, among others.
