Deputy MD promotion further boosts Quest’s expertise

Tim Curran, who has amassed more than 20 years’ PR experience, has been promoted to Deputy managing director with Harrogate-based multi award-winning agency Quest PR.

Mr Curran, a former BBC journalist, was formerly head of the business-to-business teams at major Leeds-based agencies Brahm and Ptarmigan. At the latter, he grew fees generated by his team from a standing start to more than a third of the agency's income, before leaving in 2007. He joined Quest last June as an account director.

He has devised and driven strategic campaigns for public and private sector clients, including National Australia Bank Group, professional service firms BDO Stoy Hayward, PKF and Irwin Mitchell, plus Government agency the Waste & Resources Action Programme and regional development agency Yorkshire Forward.

Said Mr Curran: “My new responsibilities include managing the agency’s operations team and relationships with all clients, ensuring targets are met and service standards achieved. I’m therefore looking forward to playing a very key part in taking Quest forward, as we accelerate our growth.”

Launched by former BBC and Sky TV on-screen reporter Sharon Cain, Quest PR fuses traditional media relations campaigns with corporate blogging and social media programmes to drive sales and open new doors. Scooping eight business and industry awards, the agency, which also delivers media training and corporate communications, guarantees clients coverage in their target media and visitor ‘hits’ on their websites and blogs.

Said Ms Cain: “Tim’s combined expertise in managing teams, delivering powerful campaigns and business development will add much value to Quest as we continue to attract the top talent and deliver a first class service to even more small and medium companies and owner managed businesses.”
