Sharon is a former Sky TV and BBC journalist who founded Quest as: "The home of good journalism."
Working at a strategic level, Sharon conducts in-depth interviews with senior personnel to ‘peel off the layers' and dig out appropriate angles. She draws on her writing expertise to target clients' messages across print and broadcast media.
A champion of female entrepreneurs, Sharon was selected by regional development agency Yorkshire Forward for the nationwide Women's Ambassadors' Programme. Running half marathons and cycle challenges for charity, Sharon is passionate about travel and has lived in Hong Kong and in a tree house in the Philippines. She is most proud of her team and Quest's raft of awards from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
David's expertise in handling PR campaigns for regional, national and international audiences is firmly rooted in driving and delivering targets. David's passion for unearthing stories and capitalising on interesting and topical news angles secures a wealth of media opportunities across broadcast and print media. A lapsed multi-linguist, David brushes up on his language skills and catches up on reading during his holidays. A keen runner who has completed the New York Marathon, David is looking forward to fresh challenges.
John launched his career with Reuters in London covering the heady world of finance including equities and bonds. Since then, he's covered subjects as diverse as Cornish independence and guide dog breeding programmes.
John speaks German, French and bits of other languages and travels whenever he can. A 'green' champion, John goes running, plants trees and clears ponds and streams in his spare time.
An award-winning national newspaper journalist, Karyn began her career at Vogue, before heading to Sunday Business and The Mail on Sunday. She moved to The Sunday Telegraph in 2004. Passionate about digging out new hooks and angles to stories, Karyn was drawn to Quest's commitment to writing excellence and journalist-led approach to PR. She has amassed expertise across fields including health, business, foreign news, food and fashion. In her spare time, Karyn plays the mandolin. She is also a keen blogger.
Nick has already amassed a huge range of experience in his career - a law graduate, he went on to spend a year as President of his students' union before entering the PR industry. He joined Quest from nationwide agency Beattie Communications, attracted by the opportunity to be to be a part of an award winning PR agency.
In his spare time Nick can often be found camera in hand 'down the front' at gigs, with his work appearing in publications around the world as well as on his blog.
Joining the team from a news and features reporting role with Yorkshire Post Newspapers, Joel further cements the team's journalistic nous in liaising with national, regional and local print and online media. Joel brings clients a first-hand perspective of what journalists want, and a keen understanding of how to position stories to gain the best results for Quest's clients.
Joel has a passion for the arts and music. A keen snowboarder and gradually improving sailor, he should spend more time running than he currently does!
Sue is a highly-motivated office manager who spent six years managing the busy offices at Atlas Media Group in Leeds.
Sue is responsible for the smooth running of Quest's office and ensuring all procedures and processes are followed and quality standards maintained. An excellent organiser and communicator, her aim is to assist the Quest team with all administration and financial matters as we power from strength to strength. Sue was instrumental in helping Quest achieve its Investors in People recognition. In her spare time, Sue enjoys running 10Ks, family life and entertaining friends.
